Max’s Journey Back to Health

Golden retriever service dog Max, one of our dedicated facility dogs in training at Lakeview Elementary School. Recently, Max faced an unexpected medical emergency when he had a reaction to stitches after being neutered, requiring emergency surgery.

Thanks to the incredible care he received at Lakeville Family Pet Clinic, Max made a full recovery and is happily back at school, doing what he loves most – bringing smiles and support to students!

Max received many heartfelt cards from students, and their kind words made his recovery even brighter. The whole school recently came together to celebrate his 2nd birthday, a joyful reminder of how loved he is. Moments like these remind us of the powerful bond between our dogs and the communities they serve.

Your support makes stories like Max’s possible. Donations to the MASKA Fund (Medical and Surgical K9 Assistance) help us provide the highest level of veterinary care for our service dogs, ensuring they can continue making a difference in so many lives.

Thank you for being part of our mission to transform lives – one paw at a time.
