We are committed to ensuring accessibility for everyone, regardless of ability. Here are some of the active steps we’ve taken to make our content accessible:

Accessibility Utility Widget – We’ve implemented an onscreen tool to make our WordPress website easily accessible ready on all common browsers and platforms (Desktop / Tablets / Mobile), making it easier to access options such as: Font Size Control, Keyboard Navigation, Contrast displays: High contrast / Black and White / Black and Yellow, Links Highlight, Stop Animations, and more.

Semantic HTML: We continually work to ensure proper use of semantic HTML elements (like headings, lists, and landmarks) to enhance screen reader navigation and keyboard accessibility.

Alt Text for Images: Provide descriptive alternative text (alt text) for images, ensuring that users with visual impairments can understand the content.

Keyboard Navigation: We test our website using keyboard navigation only in order to ensure all interactive elements (buttons, links, forms) are accessible via keyboard.

Color Contrast: We check that text has sufficient contrast against its background. We use tools like the WCAG Contrast Checker to improve color contrast ratios.

Captions and Transcripts: We include captions for videos and provide transcripts for audio content. This benefits users with hearing impairments.

Responsive Design: We ensure our website works well on various devices and screen sizes. We test with different browsers and assistive technologies.

Skip Links: We implement skip links at the top of our pages to allow users to jump directly to main content or other important sections.

Testing with Assistive Technologies: We test our website using screen readers (like NVDA or VoiceOver) and other assistive tools.
